Twin Cities Wine Education is proud to present a very special night of perfectly aged wines directly from Barolo.
To truly understand Barolo takes time, for these wines are built for the ages. Only with paitence can the quality and detail of truly great Barolo come forth.
But who wants to wait? And if you are aging it yourself, you must be concerned with all types of issues regarding temperature, vibration, light, and more. Far better to get the wine directly from the winery, where its been sitting quietly in the cave for years if not decades.
In this special once-in-a-lifetime evening, join us to taste a range of wines from the historic Borgogno winery of Barolo including the 2003, 1998, and 1982 vintage Barolo Riservas. Joining us will be very special guest Andrea Cravero, Internation Export Manager for Borgogno.
We’ll start with a discussion on the history and geography of Piemonte and Barolo in particular. Then we’ll move into a range of Borgogno Dolcetto and Barbera while Cravero tells us the history of the property, one of the oldest in Barolo. Then we move into a stunning side by side lineup: Barolo Riserva 2003, 1998, and 1982. Three vintages with incredibly different weather patterns, personalities, and styles.
This is bound to be one of the top Barolo education nights you can experience.
I hope to see you there! SEATING IS EXTREMELY LIMITED.
