Twin Cities Wine Education is proud to present a special night of amazing wines and history.
In this special class we’ll learn about one of the key properties in the history of California and Napa Valley wine. Starting with the founding of the property in 1879, we’ll cover every decade of their existence.
Emerging from Prohibition, the legendary winemaker John Daniel Jr. took over the operations and produced what many still consider the finest wines ever made in Napa Valley. The story continues until the purchase of the property by Francis Ford Coppola, and the reunion of the orginal parcels. Our class will detail the exact location of their property, who is nearby (and what kind of wines they make) and the future of the estate.
Particular emphasis will be placed on the terroir of the parcels, the wines of John Daniel Jr. and the lasting impact of the Inglenook property.
We’ll be tasting three amazing wines from a trifecta of vintages in the 1980’s. This will be an exceptional evening of wine, learning, and history. I hope you can be there.
Extremely limited seating.
