Twin Cities Wine Education is proud to present a great new class on an awseome old wine region
Unknown Italy: Exploring the overlooked wine regions.
We all know Chianti. And Barolo. And Barbaresco, Montalcino, Valpolicella, Friuli, Alto Adige, and other “go-to” regions of Italian wine. In this class we’ll be tasting none of those.
Let’s explore and discuss the unknown. The under the radar. The amazing old regions of Italy that have been producing for thousands of years but Americans don’t know them.
In this new class we’ll go deep in the wine regions of Valle d’Aosta, Lombardy, Emilia-Romagna, Lazio, Marches, Campania, and Sardinia. You’ll learn about varieties you’ve never heard of, producers that are rarely available in the United States, and food that you can easily cook at home to make for the complete cultural experience with these incredible wines.
