Alex Fullerton: Seven Single Vineyards Pinot Noirs (and Willamette AVA’s)

May 21, 2019 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Twin Cities Wine Education is proud to present a special night of some of the rarest wines of Willamette Valley.

Alex Fullerton of Fullerton Winery presents: Seven single vineyards and AVA’s of Willamette Valley.

Join us for a night with a special guest expert that carries an encyclopedia of Willamette Valley in his brain. Alex Fullerton is the talented young winemaker and founder of Fullerton Wines, which is suddenly found at many of the best restaurants of the Twin Cities.

In this class, we’ll dive deep into the terroir of Willamette Valley with Alex as our guide. Soil types, exposures, rainfall, temperature, and all the aspects that go into making great wine will be discussed. Learn what a winemaker faces with a climate such as Willamette Valley, and what they must do to achieve greatness.

As a special treat, we’ll be tasting through seven single-vineyard Pinot Noirs, across all the major AVA’s of Willamette Valley.

Wines to be presented:
2016 Fir Crest Vineyard Pinot Noir – Yamhill-Carlton (150 cases produced)
2015 Croft Vineyard Pinot Noir – Soon to be Mount Pisgah, Polk County, Oregon AVA (200 cases produced)
