Alex Fullerton: Wind Blown vs. Sheltered Pinot Noirs of Willamette Valley
August 11 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm$55.00
Twin Cities Wine Education is proud to present a special night with one of our favorite personalities of Willamette Valley!
Alex Fullerton of Fullerton Winery presents: Wind Blown vs. Sheltered Willamette Valley Pinot Noirs
Join us for a night with a special guest expert that carries an encyclopedia of Willamette Valley in his brain. Alex Fullerton is the talented young winemaker and founder of Fullerton Wines, which is suddenly found at many of the best restaurants of the Twin Cities.
In this class, we’ll dive deep into the terroir of Willamette Valley with Alex as our guide, with a focus on wind and the impact it has on winemaking in Willamette Valley. By tasting side-by-side single-vineyard comparisons of limited and low-production wines, we will learn what impact wind has on the final product.
A class like this has never been done before!
With the establishment of the newest AVA of Willamette Valley, the Van Duzer Gap, this is bound to be a night like no other.
If you are at all into the Willamette Valley or Pinot Noir in general, this will be an eye-opening night. We will be tasting incredible rarities that are hardly ever seen outside of the Fullerton tasting room in Portland.
Very limited seating for this special event.
