Björnson Vineyard: Wines, History, and Farming with Mark Björnson
November 14 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm$50.00
Twin Cities Wine Education is proud to present a special night showcasing one of the great vineyards of Willamette Valley and an outstanding producer with local ties!
BJÖRNSON VINEYARD: WINES, HISTORY, AND FARMING with special guest MARK BJÖRNSON
Join us for a special night with Mark Björnson, who with wife and winemaker Patty, run the acclaimed Björnson Vineyard in the Eola-Amity Hills and make their own incredible wines under the Björnson label. This will be a wide-ranging night of learning and discussion about their history (meeting at the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota), the Willamette Valley and Eola-Amity Hills in particular, farming and LIVE certification, little known grape varieties, working with a range of winemakers, and much more.
This is a must-attend wine class for anyone interested in Willamette Valley, Pinot Noir, and top quality eco-friendly viticulture.
Learn more about the Björnsons in the wonderful StarTribune article of August 2019: http://www.startribune.com/the-bjornson-vineyard-gets-its-start-by-chance-at-the-u-of-minnesota/542282462/
We will taste a wide variety of wines from Björnson Winery, showcasing their devotion to the variety of the grapes they champion (and of course lots of Pinot Noir). We hope you can make it to this awesome wine class!
