In our Pinot Family wine class we’ll deep dive into three of our favorite grapes: Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, and Pinot Noir. Learn all about the similarities and differences, the history of the varieties, the key growing regions around the world, top producers in each category, how to find bang for the buck, and of course food pairings.
Wines to be presented: Two wines each from the three categories, with an emphasis on top regions. All wines will be outstanding, distinct, interesting, and available for purchase via Solo Vino Wine Shop in Saint Paul.
About the evening. Our host location, the Campus Club at the University of Minnesota, is one of our favorite venues. You can pre-order a cheese plate to go along with your wine tasting, or arrive early for a bite! Easy underground parking is available (note there is a parking fee). Those wishing to eat ahead of the event are invited to arrive anytime before 5pm. Class begins promtly at 6:00pm.
