A special night with one of our favorite winemakers!
SHANE FINLEY (of Shane Wines) LOVES LAMB MEATBALLS
Great wines, lots of learning, and some of the best meatballs in the region at Nightingale!
An informal evening of learning and eating. Only 24 seats available.
Location: Nightingale Restaurant, 2551 Lyndale Avenue South, Minneapolis MN 55405
5:00 to 5:45 gather and reception (arrive when you can, we will sit and proceed in groups of six).
As the tables are sat, we will pour three fantastic glasses for you as Shane Finley joins you to discuss the wines, his history, his winemaking philosophy.
Then the famous Nightingale meatballs arrive! Spiced Lamb Meatballs (Peterson Farm) with a Tomato-Cinnamon Sauce, Calabrian Chiles, Mint & Saffron Creme Fraiche. Served with a Semolina Focaccia Bread Stick.

Join us for a fun and informal evening of wine and food with Shane Finley of Shane Wines. Shane is a local boy done good … hailing from West Bloomington, he left the corporate world behind when he caught the wine bug. As he explains on his website:
“I never intended to become a winemaker. I studied English at the Virginia Military Institute in the tiny hamlet of Lexington, Virginia and afterward moved to New York City to pursue a safe career in business. From my comfortable perch in midtown Manhattan, in a cubicle working for a global insurance company, my destiny ascending the rungs of corporate America seemed assured.
