Wine After Work: Pinot Noir Challenge (Burgundy vs. Oregon vs. California)
April 4 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm
Twin Cities Wine Education is proud to present a great little wine class with Sommelier Shar Peterson
Wine After Work: The Pinot Noir Challenge – Burgundy vs. Oregon vs. California
Join sommelier Shar Peterson for a fun class comparing the styles of Pinot Noir from the three greatest regions for that variety: Burgundy, Oregon, and California.
The class will consist of a blind tasting of three fantastic wines, with instruction on the best blind tasting practices, what you are smelling and tasting for, and how to evaluate the final product. Upon revealing the wines, you’ll learn about the basics of Pinot Noir production in those three regions including what to expect from each one, thus enhancing your overall bang for the buck (which is, of course, the goal of all of this).
Class starts at 5:30 and includes some small bites from the kitchen of Cafe Latte.
