Wine After Work: Valpolicella, Ripasso, and Amarone
March 10 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm$40.00
Twin Cities Wine Education is proud to present a great Wine After Work class
Valpolicella, Ripasso, and Amarone with sommelier Shar Peterson
Join sommelier Shar Peterson for a quick dive into three of the great wines of the Veneto in northeastern Italy. Valpolicella, Ripasso, and Amarone are each distinctive, each delicious, each with a purpose, but made differently simply by winemaking method.
If you’ve never experienced these three wines side by side, you’re in for a treat. Rarely can this much education be had from three wines from the same grape and the same region.
We will taste three, one of each style, from a great producer. You’ll learn about the key grapes used in the production of Valpolicella wines, the special techniques used in making the wines, and what to pair with them for ultimate enjoyment.
This is a must-attend class for anyone into Italian wines or for those traveling to Verona in the future.
We hope you can join us! Happy hour meets wine education!

Is there food at Wine After Work?
A couple of appetizers or a cheese board will be ordered for the table, but this is not a meal or a wine dinner. You’re invited and encouraged to stick around after at the host restaurant for dinner.

Of course! We take pride in serving great wines for all of our classes, always with top quality Riedel stemware. All Wine After Work classes serve a minimum of three great selections.
