ELIO PERRONE ‘BIGARO’
This wine is so much fun, so distinctive, so easy going, and so unpretentious. And most of all it’s downright delicious! Only 5% ABV and as fresh as can be.
More info on the producer, Eilo Perrone, and the importer, the Rare Wine Company.
I mentioned this is made in the same method as Moscato d’Asti (as well as Prosecco), a method called Charmant which involves making the wine en masse in high pressure tanks. Learn more about Charmant.
We made a big deal about the importer, The Rare Wine Company, which is one of about thirty or forty importers that we follow closely and trust what they do. Learn more about the world of smaller wine importers.
