On May 17th, 2022 from 2:30 to 5:00pm Twin Cities Wine Education has organized a multi-vendor Santa Barbara trade wine tasting to be held at The Market at Malcolm Yards in Minneapolis.

Bonus: at 2:30 Jason Kallsen will do a quick presentation titled “Selling Santa Barbara” with hints and tips for restaurants, retailers, and wholesalers on the terroir, styles, history, and distinctiveness of Santa Barbara wines, plus how to brand-set the category as a distinctive part of the sales process.
Topics to be covered in this short presentation: the terroir of Santa Barbara, history of winemaking in the area, recent vintages, current trends in Santa Barbara winemaking, how to explain the region to customers efficiently, and more.
The Selling Santa Barbara presentation is open to all employees of any Minnesota retailer, restaurant, or wholesaler.
